Winter Forest School session in Sneinton

October 26, 2016

                              EXPLORING THE ELEMENT OF FIRE

The leaves are falling and Autumn is upon us, but Raquel and I plan to wrap up warm and get outside this Winter to enjoy some Winter Forest School adventures on the land behind Iona school in Sneinton, Nottingham. We will be working with the element of fire - building fires, sawing fire wood, learning how to start fires by friction, roasting chestnuts and cooking with the dutch oven - as well as lots of other activities. We will provide hot chocolate and soup for lunch to help keep us warm.

For 5 -7 year olds:

Sunday 13th November 2016 and Sunday 22nd January 2017

For 8-11 year olds:

Saturday 19th November 2016 and Saturday 4th February 2017

Sessions run from 10.30am until 2.30pm and cost £25 per session. You can book individual sessions and booking deadlines are 4th November and 13th January. Sessions are open to all local children.
